The best thing about the cruise was having my entire family there and the sunny weather. There wasnt anything particular memorable about the ship and sadly we were all a bit disappointed with the service etc. Having been on 2 Royal Carribbean cruises previously, I would not ever sail with HAL again. Things were constantly closed, they ran out of stuff all the time, the staff was unhelfpul and often rude.

Our " partially obstructed view" was totally obstructed by a rescue boat, except when they were maintaining/using it. I noted when we were checking out, the mattress covers and blankets which we had used, appeared to be reused, without cleaning, sanitizing.

Our stateroom was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was amazing in their great smiles and greetings to us by calling us by our names and wanting to please. When we were worried about a loud, repetitive noise which could be heard in our cabin, we reported it to the front desk in case it was of vital importance in the safety of the ship. The staff reassured us that the noise was a normal one and relieved our minds. The meals were lovely. A first time experience: For the first two days onboard, the cafeteria offered service by staff only so passengers were not allowed to help ourselves to the food. This was a good safety measure to teach us to use proper techniques in food handling. Later, we still noticed some passengers inappropriately touching food, but it was rare. The hand sanitizer stations were everywhere and people, in general, were using them. I was relieved to notice almost no smoking on board because I have a lung condition. When we had to walk past the Sports Bar where smoking is allowed, I would cover my nose and mouth with a scarf. We were fortunate to experience our first balcony and able to use it frequently because there were no smokers nearby.

Your sail aways from Port were dull and boring. The entertainment during the day was also boring. We enjoyed the food We enjoyed our stateroom.

Best thing was having so much dedicated time to be with loved ones in a comfortable, pampered environment. The most memorable thing about the ship: sitting in the Crow's Nest with unobstructed view of astounding panorama view of Glacier Bay; top 2nd was the fabulous warm professional staff everywhere and at every staffing level; totally impressive. Crowd control was excellent; as a professional in this area I was impressed by how well conceived all processes were and how smoothly so many people were handled without having them feel herded. Loved the thoughtful gifts of our cruise agents; unexpected delight to be treated to Pinnacle Grill!

The food in the dining room was ok but I expected much better quality for the price, e.g., more and better quality seafood as we were in Alaska. Excellent staff-very helpful. Way too much of a push re Diamonds International...

All of the staff were very good to us and treated us well. One person in particular who went way above and beyond was a yound lady at the front desk of the boat. Her name is Janessa, when she heard out that our luggage was not delivered by the airplane company she helped us of every possible way. The luggage ended up being delivered to Junea and then onto the ship right to our room. We can not say enough good things about this young lady, even though everyone else was extreamly good to us, we will for sure be sailing with your company in the future and we are telling all of our friends abouth this wonderful young lady and your company. Sorry for the rant but she is great. The food was excellent and there was no shortage of it. Regards, Fred & Eva

The best thing about my cruise was all of the activities offered by the cruise line. I was never at a loss for anything to do. The shopping was fun, the gym, the nite life, the library/news room, hot tubs, pools, culinary class, digital workshop, oh and of course the food...I tried to fit it all in. Our room was the most memorable; it was very nice and relaxing and the scenery so beautiful. I have never cruised before so I have nothing to compare with as far as improvements; I think the cruise was everything I imagined and more. I absolutely loved it, it was amazing and I plan on going on more cruises in the future.
