Hi Elliot, the cruise was awesome. The Soltice is an exquisite ship. You made a great recommendation. I can't see us doing anything other than the Celebrity line now ;^)
On a side note, we almost didn't make it. Our flight the day before was cancelled out of Syracuse due to weather, so we missed the connection in NJ. We drove to NJ in a rental car to catch the 10:20am flight the morning of the cruise. Low and behold, 5 minutes before the depature, the flight was delayed over two hours because the pilots weren't there.
Suffice to say, they held the boat until 3:55pm and we made it with 5 minutes to spare. It was very close. About a dozen others didn't make it. They were boarding in San Juan. We were in shock when we got on the boat. Like getting to heaven on a path from hell. :^) Almost had to use the cancellation insurance, but glad we didn't...
The ship was worth every penny, and the room you picked was perfect.

We are back from our wonderful trip on the Emerald Princess! We had a fabulous time – it’s a beautiful ship. Next time, we would like to have a balcony though, that would make it perfect! Our rooms were the only two rooms at the very end of the ship, near the smaller quieter pool. We felt the location was simply perfect! Thank you for your help!!
